There are other silver linings to the big, grey cloud of impending normality. When I say "flight home", what I mean is "flight to Italy". Stacey's sister, Kirsti, is getting married to her boyfriend Luke in Chianti, so we will fly from Rio de Janeiro to Rome. We'll spend a couple of weeks on the Italian coast, hopefully with some friends, before the wedding. Months and months ago when we decided on dates, we described this as our fantasy 'Hollywood' ending - and it should certainly be that.
We'll grab a lift from Italy to England with Stacey's folks in their car. I said I'd share the driving but I'm not sure they realise I wouldn't have been behind the wheel for 9 months.
Anyway, we fly on May 4th, via Madrid. We'll be back in England towards the end of May. Then the boring part of finding jobs starts...
PS - we have put our pictures from Bolivia online. Click here.
